Upstream

Offshore Production in the North Sea is recognized as a high-cost, complex and challenging environment. Regulatory requirements are among the toughest in the world, with safety, engineering and quality standards expected to meet or exceed obligatory minimums. This is where the AOGV mechanical isolation system was born.

A customer requested a technical and commercial proposal for a positive isolation around an inlet heater in the main process system of an offshore production installation. Our solution allowed production through the parallel test system, allowing access to open, repair and re-activate the heating system. Unlike conventional isolation approaches, applying the AOGV system avoided production shutdown.

Izomax have successfully planned and executed more than 80 projects in the Upstream segment. From The Arctic to more benign environments, our engineers are ready to help you plan and execute your planned and unplanned projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Izomax team can help you understand how you can utilize our technology to best overcome your piping, valve or utilities challenges Offshore, without hot work or permanent changes to your plant.

Applications

The AOGV provides positive isolation without any physical modifications or
lasting impact to the process plant.
