As the year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back on a busy season across four continents: Australia, Brazil, the UAE and the UK. The Izomax team has been on-site at major industry events, meeting operators and highlighting how the AOGV offers a safe alternative to hot tapping during live maintenance.
APGA – Brisbane, Australia
We began in Brisbane at the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) Convention & Exhibition, Australia’s leading annual gathering for the pipeline industry.
Representing Izomax was AU Sales Manager Alex Follington, together with our sister company IK Trax as part of IK Group. Across the event, Alex met with visitors to discuss how the AOGV enables safe maintenance and tie-ins without shutdowns, hot work or downtime.

OTC Brasil – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Next stop was Rio de Janeiro and OTC Brasil, one of Latin America’s leading events for offshore technology and energy innovation.
Izomax was represented by Sales & Business Development Manager Svein Tore Milwertz and Business Development Consultant Tarryl Hektner. Together with colleagues from IK Trax, IK Subsea and Norclamp, they met operators and suppliers to share how the AOGV supports safe interventions without shutdowns or hot work.

ADIPEC – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
From there, the team travelled to Abu Dhabi for ADIPEC, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference and one of the world’s largest events for the global energy industry.
Business Developer Morten Sirevåg, UK Sales Manager Lynne Lyon and Brand Manager Ane Andersen represented Izomax, joining colleagues from IK Subsea and IK Trax on the IK Group stand. Discussions focused on our AOGV mechanical isolation system, the Izomax way of repair and maintenance without shutdown.

Topsides UK 2025 – Aberdeen, United Kingdom
To round off the season, the team headed to Aberdeen for Topsides UK 2025, where industry professionals share insights, innovations and real-world experiences driving efficiency, safety and sustainability across North Sea assets.

On home turf, UK Sales Manager Lynne Lyon was joined by Director of Sales and Business Development Svein Tore Milwertz and Project Manager Stephanie Craig. Over two days, they met industry peers to discuss AOGV mechanical isolation technology, with Lynne also taking part in a speaker session together with Valvetight.

Thank you to everyone we had the opportunity to connect with across these events. With a full calendar ahead, we look forward to continuing the conversations and supporting operators with safe, planned and shutdown-free mechanical isolation.
If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, get in touch with our sales team to arrange a meeting.
