Overview

The patented Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!

Izomax was called to plan and safely execute the isolation of a slug catcher containing flashing liquids that the operator was not able to gas free in time for a planned platform maintenance campaign. The AOGV system ensured full isolation, allowing maintenance to move ahead safely and on-time as planned. An additional benefit of utilising the AOGV mechanical isolation system was a significant reduction in the volumes gas-freed.
