Your application
Tell us how the AOGV will be installed and where you are in the world.
The AOGV is fitted between two pipe flanges (flange-to-flange), or between a valve and a flange (flange-to-valve). Select whichever matches your pipe configuration.
The flange class (rating) is stamped on the flange — e.g. #150, #300. If unsure, check the pipe isometric or ask your process engineer.

Space at the installation point
The AOGV needs free space around the flange to be installed and operated. The diagram below shows what is required. The orientation can be rotated freely to fit available space — it does not have to be installed vertically.
Required installation clearance
Clearance guidelines: Direction 1 & 2 — 2× and 1× flange diameter respectively. Directions 3 & 4 — ½× flange diameter each. More space may be required in directions 1 and 2 to allow for handling and operation of AOGV intervention tools. The AOGV is not restricted to horizontal or vertical operation and can be oriented to suit any flange nut position. These values are a guide only.
