Tie-in to Instrument Air System
Overview
The patented AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!
Izomax facilitated 4 tie-ins on the instrument air system during a planned shutdown on a offshore production facility. Using the AOGV mechanical isolation system enabled the customer to have the critical instrument air system in operation while the tie-ins were performed, hence avoiding compensatory measures necessary when using traditional isolation methods.
