Passing Valve Replacement Offshore
Overview
The patented Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!
An Operator needed to replace a passing valve between the fuel gas and flare system onboard an offshore production platform. Use of the Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system enabled the operator to safely replace the valve, avoiding a full plant shutdown.
