FPSO Cargo Tank Isolations
Overview
The patented Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!
A total of 13 isolations were performed on the cargo tank system onboard an FPSO, facilitating valve repair and maintenance on the tank cleaning system. This avoided the need for extensive isolation and gas-freeing activities, mitigating significant environmental impacts. The 13 isolations were successfully performed during an 18-day campaign.
