Overview

The patented AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!

The Izomax team facilitated the replacement of a butterfly valve on a storage tank top using a prototype AOGV specifically designed for the purpose. The valve replacements were performed while the system was operational. Because all of the valves were connected to the same header, utilising the AOGV system prevented production shutdown. Significant reduction in preparation time, gas-freeing and emptying of inventory was also accomplished by choosing the Izomax solution.
