Overview

The patented Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system installs a barrier between a flange pair on a pressurized system whilst in continuous operation. Unlike alternative isolation technologies, the AOGV allows our customers to safely isolate process segments for inspection, maintenance, or repair without a cashflow shutdown!

The Izomax AOGV mechanical isolation system was used to set a blind spade in a flange pair on the gas lift manifold inside the turret of an FPSO. This enabled the operator to replace a passing shutdown valve that was required to be leak tight in advance of a planned turnaround. Failing to replace the passing valve would have prevented storage of gas required for the start-up of the facility post turnaround. The Izomax solution offered significant time and cost savings.
