ABOUT YOU 

  • You are commercially minded and structured, with strong analytical capabilities
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working across departments
  • You have experience supporting sales teams with quotations, proposals, or commercial analysis
  • You are detail-oriented and able to interpret complex customer requirements
  • You communicate clearly and coordinate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare detailed and accurate commercial quotations based on customer scopes of work and technical requirements
  • Interpret RFQs, specifications, and operational requirements to develop structured commercial proposals
  • Ensure pricing reflects internal cost structures, margin expectations, and commercial strategy
  • Coordinate inputs required for quotations, including technical scope clarification, project considerations, equipment availability, and supplier pricing
  • Document scope assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing basis clearly
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations teams
  • Support the sales team with commercial analysis and proposal structuring during customer engagement
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of quotation processes, pricing structures, and internal tools
  • Maintain visibility of quotation activity and support analysis of pricing performance and commercial trends

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience in inside sales, commercial operations, bid preparation, or sales support roles
  • Experience preparing quotations for technical products, equipment, or industrial services is preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and numerical capability with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or Power Apps is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
