We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to support the assembly, testing, and deployment of AOGV units for onshore and offshore projects across the Americas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble, test, and maintain AOGV mechanical isolation systems according to engineering drawings and project specifications
  • Support field operations, including equipment installation at customer sites (onshore/offshore)
  • Ensure all work complies with Izomax and customer HSE and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is always in optimal working condition
  • Accurately report work progress to Izomax project managers and, when required, to client representatives
  • Set up, calibrate, and store test equipment properly; maintain accurate inventory of tools and parts
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization in line with company standards
  • Travel regularly for onshore, offshore and overseas assignments as project demands require
  • Perform other related duties as required to support project success and company operations

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Technical certificate or apprenticeship in industrial mechanics, agricultural engineering, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical experience; previous work on pressurized systems or piping preferred
  • Prior experience in energy or offshore operations is a strong advantage
  • Basic safety training (BOSIET or equivalent) required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and layouts
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Clear communication skills—both verbal and written—in English (mandatory)
  • Able to work independently and within a team across departments
  • Physically fit and capable of responding to emergencies in offshore environments
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and available for international travel
