ABOUT YOU

We are looking for five skilled AOGV Technicians  to continue delivering first-class products and services to our customers. The position is based at Houston, US, but offshore operations are a key element of the job, and overseas travel will be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production and maintenance of our mechanical isolation systems.
  • Build, test, and install equipment as per project documentation and engineering drawings.
  • Must understand and comply with all HSE, quality procedures, and company policies of Izomax.
  • Meet customer HSE and quality requirements prior to working at customer sites onshore and offshore.
  • Report to Izomax project managers and customer representatives as directed.
  • Maintaining equipment in good working order.
  • Carry out work assignments to the highest quality level.
  • Conclude test setups and store equipment properly.
  • Perform and maintain inventory of test parts and equipment.
  • Maintain the appearance of the workshop and grounds of the facility.
  • Based in Houston, US, but offshore/site operations are key elements of the job, and overseas travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Certificate of apprenticeship in industrial mechanical, agricultural engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience with pressurized systems and piping and relevant work experience onshore and/or offshore is preferred.
  • Basic safety training.
  • Motivated, focused, and accountable individual able to work independently.
  • Team player assists other departments as needed.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess sound reasoning skills, good common sense, and the ability to follow directions.
  • Must be able to recognize hazards, alarms, and warnings and convey these to the proper personnel.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • Ability to physically respond to emergency situations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings/prints and tool layouts.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
